Booking Your Wedding- The Process


Step One: Get in Touch

The first step is easy—send through an inquiry! You can do this via the *book your date* link or the contact page. This is your chance to tell me all about your wedding plans, and we’ll check if I’m free on your date.


Step Two: Let’s Chat

Once I’ve received your inquiry, I’ll send through my package info and we’ll line up a time for a call. This is a chance for us to get to know each other and talk through how I can best capture your day. We’ll also go over any questions you have about the packages.


Step Three: Locking It In

If you feel like I’m the right fit (yay!), we’ll get you officially booked in. This part is nice and simple: sign the contract and pay the 30% booking fee. Once those two steps are done, you’re officially a AK Creative couple, and your date is safely on my calendar!


Step Four: Engagement Session

Here’s where the fun starts! I include a complimentary engagement session for all my couples(main packages) It’s the perfect way for us to meet in person, for you to get comfortable in front of the camera, and to capture this sweet season before the wedding.


Step Five: Wedding Planning Support

When you book me, you’re not just getting a photographer—you’re getting someone who’s 100% in your corner. I love catching up with my couples to chat through plans and help with timelines or ideas. About a month before the big day, we’ll meet up usually via video chat to go over all the final details and the schedule.


Step Six: The Big Day

It’s finally here—the day you’ve been dreaming of! You can trust me to be there capturing all the big, beautiful, emotional, and in-between moments while you relax and soak it all up.


Step Seven: Your Photos

The day will fly by, so I’ll make sure you have photos to relive it all nice and quickly. Within 24–48 hours after your wedding, you’ll receive a sneak peek gallery to share and enjoy. Your full gallery will be ready within 4–6 weeks—but if you’d like everything sooner, I also offer an express edit option. Even though the photos are delivered, this isn’t goodbye—I love keeping in touch with my couples (because by then, you’re more like friends)
